Invitation to Participants

It is our great pleasure to invite you to take part in the scientific symposium FUTURE TRENDS IN CIVIL ENGINEERING that is currently organised on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Zagreb. On 21 February this year the Faculty of Civil Engineering - Zagreb celebrates its 95th anniversary and, to mark this significant event, the Faculty is organising a number of activities, one of which is this Symposium.

The lectures to be presented at the Symposium will concern the fields that are a part of the Faculty’s activities: geotechnical engineering, water engineering, structural engineering, construction, materials, construction management, transport infrastructures, engineering mechanics, building design and applied mathematics. At this gathering, each field will be represented by one foreign lecturer with international repute and one domestic lecturer. Foreign lecturers come from six countries (Austria, Italy, Ireland, Poland, the UK, and the USA) while domestic lectures originate from the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Zagreb. All lectures presented at the symposium will be fully published in the symposium proceeding.
